74-D is a talented Afrobeat, trap, hip-hop, and R&B singer and songwriter from Edo State, Nigeria. As an independent artist, he is known for his straightforward and determined approach, often sharing stories and experiences of the average young talent. Born Joshua Oladimeji Egbuagah on April 8 in Mushin, Lagos, 74-D, the eldest of six siblings, discovered his passion for music at a young age and started experimenting with songwriting and freestyling during his college years at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education.

Growing up in a family that appreciated hip-hop music, 74-D found early inspiration in his father's music collection. This love for music led him to hone his lyrical skills and pursue a career in the industry. Attending Abeokuta Grammar School in Ogun State further fueled his passion for music, eventually shaping the foundation of his artistic journey.
