5OM (Robert Samsom) began his music career producing harder house styles in the early 1990s with the group SPACE SEED, culminating in an EP release in 1994. Despite appearing on compilations, the group disbanded around 1998. He then transitioned to producing Trance but did not release any material, eventually ceasing production in 2004. In 2016, he returned to the music scene with Techno production, securing his first release in 2017 through Drumquest. The following year, he partnered with Mike Tierra to establish the Techno label Intergrade Records.
