Born in Harlem, NYC, 4D, named after Bob Dylan, was raised in New Rochelle, New York, by journalist parents Sharon Epperson and Christopher John Farley. Immersed in music from a young age, he draws influence from legends like Bob Marley and Prince introduced by his father, while his mother exposed him to voices such as Michael Jackson and Frank Ocean, shaping his melodic and soulful sound. Releasing music on SoundCloud, 4D made waves with his debut EP ICONIC in 2017, leading to his genre-blending debut album PACK 4 LAPUTA (P4L) in December 2024.

Known for his chill, soulful energy, 4D's standout track "NO ROOF DOWN 95" from P4L embodies a smooth vibe reminiscent of driving down I-95 with the top down.
