French duo 29Popband, comprised of Sylvain Savreux and Yann Cortella, transitioned from their post Daft Punk acoustic setup to an unplugged project during the 2020 lockdown in France. With Sylvain on vocals and 12-string guitar, accompanied by a shaker on his left foot, and Yann on the "acoustic groove machine" featuring a double bass, bass drum, stomp, and tambourine, the duo focuses on integrating pop, dance, chill, funk, and electro elements into their music.

With over 300 concerts and 5 years of collaboration under their belt, the duo embarked on this new artistic endeavor as a testament to their resilience and passion for music. By reconnecting with the basics of their craft and embracing a diverse range of musical influences, 29Popband aims to deliver energetic, authentic performances that transcend traditional boundaries, from intimate settings to large festivals.
