Formed in 2019 in Skjeberg, Norway, 1747 originated when four acquaintances from school and mutual circles decided to merge their troubadour duos into a band. Starting with small acoustic performances, they quickly expanded to larger venues and events, solidifying their sound with the addition of a drummer from Halden in late 2023.

Known for their energetic covers that ignite crowds, 1747 transitioned into a full-scale rock band and released their first original single, "The Only Thing," in 2025. The band's lineup consists of Alexander Skorpen on drums, Herman Arnesen on rhythm guitar and keys, Emil André Pettersen on lead vocals, Jan Simon Rød on bass, and Anders Bjerknes on lead guitar, establishing them as a sought-after live act in the region.
